Mission Statement

The Minnesota Family Involvement Council’s (FIC’s)
mission is to enhance the future of the credit union movement
by providing financial awareness solutions.

Financial Literacy Educators Available

The FIC has compiled a list of credit union employees across the
state of Minnesota that are able and willing to help schools,
community organizations, or other groups with Financial Literacy
training needs. We have put together a list of everyone available,
and sorted it by city or town within Minnesota. They are grouped
into Metro and Outstate locations.

All you have to do is call or email your local contact, and you will
have a partner in your financial literacy efforts. Click here for the

Our Commitment to MN Credit Unions

The Minnesota Family Involvement Council (FIC) is dedicated to providing Minnesota credit
union staff and volunteers the resources needed to provide their credit union members with
full-family financial education. The FIC continually works towards fulfilling its mission of being
involved and providing support through a variety of programs.

Throughout its website, the FIC has included information on a variety of sources for financial education.

The FIC is comprised of a group of credit union volunteers committed to enhancing the future of the credit union movement. If you are looking to make a difference, the FIC is the place for you. Join us!

Each year at the Minnesota Credit Union Network Annual Meeting the FIC hosts a Silent Auction. The proceeds from the Silent Auction support the FIC’s Annual Scholarship Program. Each year the FIC awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to Minnesota credit union members.
