Our annual fundraising event is the Silent Auction held at the Minnesota Credit Union
Network's Annual Meeting each spring. This fundraiser is made possible through
generous donations made by credit unions, vendors and other organizations. With the money raised through donations, the FIC provides continuing education scholarships to credit union members and their dependants. In 2009, $11,000 was awarded to 20 recipients. The FIC Scholarship Program dates back to 1997 initially giving $2,500 in scholarships. Not only does the FIC Scholarship Program reward scholarships to traditional high school seniors but also to non-traditional students. Non-traditional students are those who have chose to continue their post-secondary education no matter what their age. To those who have donated and bid on items we thank you for making our annual auction a HUGE success!
